LOGO DESIGN GUIDE

Please refer to these suggested guidlines when applying the Servas Logo to your project. It will help establish and maintain a more unified look and feel for the image of Servas around the world.

Select the Right File Type

Before downloading a logo from the Logo Download Page confirm the use requirements from your designer or printer. If you're not sure what type of file or size you need please contact us with your project details and we'll assist you. Currently available file types are listed to the right.

If you're sending your project to an outside service for reproduction be sure to confirm any special requirements they need for the files you'll be sending them. We can provide you with a file in the size and format to meet your vendor's needs or, if necessary, we can communicate directly with them for you.

PNG: A transparent .png file is used primarily for web sites when you want to place the logo over a solid color background.
JPEG: A .jpg is a compressed file format in RGB color format. .jpg files can be used for the web, screen disply or in layout applications for digital printing or conversion to PDF files. All web browsers recognize .jpg files.
TIFF: .tif files are typically in CMYK color format. They are best used in layout applications such as newsletters, brochures, and flyers that will be printed, either digitally or by conventional offset printing.

Layout Recommendations

The Servas Logo is very flexible and can be used in a variety of layout formats. To help maintain an overall similarity and unified look throughout the Servas network of member countries please refer to this guide when applying the Servas Logo to your project.

The three basic layout formats for the Servas International Logo are "Vertical", "Horizontal" and "Oval". The word "INTERNATIONAL" can be replaced with your country name. See the examples shown here.

If you do not have the software application or expertise to add your country name please contact us for assistance.

NOTE: When replacing "INTERNATIONAL" with your country name the preferred font is FUTURA STD. MEDIUM CONDENSED. Some variations in size and style may be necessary due to name length so we recommend you contact us for assistance if you encounter difficulties.
